INSTITUTO POLITÉCNICO DO PORTO (IPP) is the largest Polytechnic in Portugal, with over 15.000 students divided by 7 schools. Since 1989 has established cooperation activity over 30 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, as a coordinator and partner institution. Trains young people according to labour market needs. Integrated at IPP, ISEP is an engineering school of reference in Portugal and aims to contribute to sustainable human development through the creation and knowledge transfer., is attended by more than 6000 students, offers 11 first cycle engineering degrees and 11 master degrees. The formative offer is designed in a logical of applied knowledge, which favors "hands on" approach– learning by doing. The ISEP houses 9 research groups in different fields of engineering.
